How Floating Works

Floating therapy, also known as sensory deprivation involves lying in a salt-water solution, in approximately 10 inches of water and 1000lbs of epsom salt. After you shut the door, you will be deprived of 3 senses; sight, sound and touch. This results in literally zero outward distractions, allowing you to effortlessly redirect your focus inward to facilitate relaxation and introspection.

No Sight

After you shut the door, you float in total darkness - there is no difference between keeping your eyes open or closed.

No Sound

Your ears (with earplugs) stay just below the waterline, and the tanks and rooms are insulated against sound, leaving you in peaceful silence.

No Touch

You float effortlessly in the salt-water solution. The water is kept at 34.1ºC, the same temp. as your skin, you lose track of where the air ends and the water begins.
