Located in Chatham, Ontario, it is our mission to provide a therapeutic and relaxing environment away from the daily stresses and over-stimulation in today's society. We achieve this through the use of floatation tanks, a natural form of physical, mental, emotional and cognitive therapy, popularly known as R.E.S.T (Restricted Environmental Stimulus Therapy) or sensory deprivation.
We are a couple of Float enthusiasts dedicated to helping our community experience the benefits of Floating Therapy. Whether you are looking for relief from stress, chronic pain or to enhance creativity, we are here to help.
Born & raised in Chatham-Kent, Laura began floating after suffering a brain injury in a car accident in 2014. With sensory overload and pain a constant issue, she booked her first a session at Float Toronto & instantly fell in love with Floating. The tank became the perfect environment for recovery and healing. After 8 years working patient charts and physician billing at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, the transition to wellness centre owner allowed for educated conversations with clients about their health and how Floating can be a beneficial addition to healing and selfcare. Laura is an active advocate of CBD use as alternative to opiates and regularly consults with clients regarding its uses for pain, inflammation, anxiety etc. As a member of the International Float community, Laura is on the Board of Directors of The Float Collective.
